About Us
Volunteer State Services, LLC was incorporated in January, 2011 by Sam Burnett to provide contract civil engineering, surveying and architectural drafting services to the professional community.
Sam has over 40 years of experience in the civil engineering, surveying and architectural drafting field. He started in civil engineering and survey drafting while Johnson was in the White House. This was with a civil engineering and surveying firm in Decatur, Alabama. He worked for them almost 10 years before working with a construction firm in Decatur for a short time.
He moved to Tuscaloosa, Alabama and was out of the field for about 2 years. He then worked for several civil engineering and surveying firms in Tuscaloosa before going to work for the City of Tuscaloosa in the Engineering Department.
Sam has experience on the drafting board, AutoCad, And MicroStation. He is using Traverse PC premium with his Volunteer State Services.
